Sixty years after ancient Aboriginal carvings were cut from rocks on Tasmania’s west coast, the works are to be returned, prompting celebrations but also fierce debate about their future.

Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation’s (CHAC) Strategic Planning Committee are looking towards a future of inclusion and growth for the local aboriginal community.

Looking to an inclusive future are the Strategic Planning Committee of Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation, Stephanie Johnston, Gypsy Draven, Selina Maguire-Colgrave, Aaron Robertson and Paul Roberts.

Plans have been discussed over the return of sacred petroglyphs to Circular Head at a community event hosted by the Circular Head Aboriginal Corp.
