Early Childhood Program
The Early Childhood Program services young children ages 0-5 and their families in the Circular Head Community.
The program is focused on building confidence and capabilities, social skills and school readiness in the children, while forming a culturally safe and inclusive environment for parents/carers to engage in purposeful play and activities with their children.
Coordinators currently operate Come & Play sessions at ANZAC Park Playrooms. Play allows children to reach key physical, cognitive, literacy, numeracy and social and emotional developmental phases. The program promotes positive interactions between parents/carers and children by engaging in cultural activities, and meaningful learning that can transfer into the home environment.
Programs

Come & Play
Tuesdays OR Wednesdays 9:30am-11:00am
ANZAC Park Playrooms
Our Come & Play sessions are offered over two identical sessions on the Tuesday or Wednesday for you to choose from. The sessions take elements of our past programs of Play Group and Play Gym, for a combination of options for your young person to explore both fine and gross motor skills. The space offers indoor and outdoor (weather permitting), play options. Our play options are set up to encourage parent and child interaction as well as to encourage independent play in a safe space. Our coordinators are available to speak with you about services and resources available in our community, or simply yarn with you about your day to day.
