Illicit Drug Diversion Initiative

Illicit Drug Diversionary Initiative (IDDI) is a Drug and Alcohol counselling and referral service to first time drug offenders. Police divert drug offenders caught using or possessing small quantities of illicit drugs to CHAC for appropriate education, counselling or referrals. This program is designed as an alternative to facing court for convictions therefore this program educates offenders to consider the legal and health consequences of using illicit drugs. Both adults and juveniles can be diverted, through Police referrals.
